AIR INDIA UNMITTELBAR VOR TAKE OFF in AMRITSAR DURCH POLIZEI GESTOPPT - DROGEN AN BORD!

Einer Air India Boeing 777-200,  Flug AI187 von Amritsar (Indien)  nach Birmingham (Großbritannien), wurde unmittelbar vor dem Start in Amritsar, das Flugzeug befand sich bereits auf der Startbahn, die Starterlaubnis entzogen.

Die örtliche Polzei hatte einen Hinweis auf Drogen im Flugzeug erhalten und den Abflug in letzter Sekunde gestoppt.

Bei der Kontrolle der Passagiere wurde bei einem ältern Paar, ca. 4 Kg Heroin im Gepäck sichergestellt.

Nach 2 Stunden konnte das Flugzeug in Richtung Birmingham abheben.
